  • Unlike standalone milling units, this GLS-15 configuration is a complete "Production + Storage" solution. It integrates a high-shear colloid mill with a 35m³ Finished Product Storage Tank, ensuring that your modified bitumen remains stable, homogenous, and at the perfect temperature immediately after production.

High-Performance Shearing System

At the heart of the GLS-15 is a powerful 45KW Colloid Mill. This high-speed shear grinder ensures that the polymer modifiers are finely ground and fully dispersed into the base bitumen matrix. This physical and chemical integration is crucial for meeting strict PMB quality standards.

Continuous Dual-Tank Operation

To maximize efficiency, the unit utilizes two 5m³ Preparation Tanks (Mixing Tanks) that operate alternately:

  • Tank A mixes the base bitumen and polymer.
  • Tank B feeds the material into the colloid mill.
    This design eliminates downtime between batches, allowing for a continuous production capacity of 10 to 15 tons per hour.

Integrated 35m³ Anti-Segregation Storage

Modified bitumen is prone to segregation (separation of polymer and asphalt) if left static. The GLS-15 includes a specialized 35m³ Horizontal Storage Tank equipped with:

  • Low-Speed Agitator (5.5KW): Keeps the mixture uniform.
  • Thermal Oil Heating Coils: Maintains the ideal storage temperature.
  • Insulation: Minimizes heat loss during overnight storage.

Skid-Mounted & Mobile

Designed for road construction projects that require mobility. The entire system (tanks, mill, pumps, control cabinet) is mounted on a sturdy steel chassis (skid), making it easy to transport by truck and quick to install at your job site.

Centralized Intelligent Control

The operation is managed via a centralized electrical control cabinet. It monitors bitumen temperature, tank levels, and motor status, ensuring safety and precision with minimal manual intervention.

Working Principle

  1. Feeding: Base bitumen is pumped into one of the 5m³ mixing tanks.
  2. Dosing: SBS/SBR polymers and additives are added to the mixing tank.
  3. Pre-Mixing: The 11KW high-speed agitator blends the mixture.
  4. Grinding: The mixture is pumped through the Colloid Mill for ultra-fine shearing.
  5. Storage: The finished PMB is transferred to the 35m³ storage tank, where it is agitated and heated until discharge.

Required Peripheral Equipment

Please note: This unit requires an external heat source.
