Project:

Uganda national highway construction project.

Purchased equipments:

bitumen drum decanter and bitumen storage tank.

Customer requirements:

Bitumen drum melter which can re-liquefy 5 tons of bitumen per hour.
Bitumen tanks are used to store liquid bitumen.

Solutions:

Because thermal oil boilers are not available, we recommend bitumen decanting plant: YDST Series Bitumen Decanting Machine and bitumen storage tank: YZSL Series Bitumen Storage Tank (Double Heating) to save cost and minimize the space taken up by the equipment.

Features of bitumen heating equipment:

  • Without a thermal oil boiler, it saves the transportation cost and the equipment is not as large.
  • The high temperature thermal oil of the in-built boiler is used for the heat tracing of pump sets and pipelines.
  • In order to reduce the installation procedures, the bitumen pipes have been manufactured before shipment, and only screws and gaskets need to be connected on site.
  • The bitumen storage tanks are provided with external thermal oil pipeline interfaces to facilitate the matching of bitumen emulsion equipment.
