DLT-10 Bitumen Decanter Without Burner
DLT-10 Bitumen Decanter Without Burner is a thermal-oil heated drum bitumen decanter designed for continuous drum bitumen decanting, melting, heating, and pumping. It is suitable for asphalt plant bitumen preparation, drum bitumen supply systems, and road construction projects that already have an external thermal oil boiler or centralized hot oil heating source.
Unlike a self-heating drum decanter with a built-in burner, the DLT-10 model uses hot thermal oil from an external boiler as the heating source. The system integrates a melting tank, thermal oil heating system, hydraulic propulsion system, drum tipping device, bitumen pump, and electric control system to support continuous site operation.
Why Choose DLT-10 Bitumen Decanter Without Burner
-
External Thermal Oil Heating
The DLT-10 uses hot thermal oil from an external boiler as the heating source, making it suitable for sites with an existing thermal oil boiler system.
-
Continuous Drum Decanting
The system is designed for feeding opened drums, heating them through the upper chamber, melting bitumen into the lower chamber, and pumping liquid bitumen to storage.
-
8-10 t/h Production Rate
The DLT-10 configuration supports 8-10 t/h production under suitable conditions, with 32 drums capacity and a 20 m3 tank volume.
Step 1
Feed opened drums into the decanter
Opened bitumen drums are fed into the decanter. The drum lifting and feeding system prepares the drums for continuous heating and decanting operation.
Step 2
Move drums through the upper heating chamber
The hydraulic propulsion system moves drums through the upper heating chamber. Thermal oil coils heat the drums to release bitumen from the drum walls.
Step 3
Melt bitumen into the lower chamber
Bitumen flows into the lower chamber for further heating. The thermal oil heating system helps maintain a stable melting process before pumping.
Step 4
Pump out to a storage tank
After reaching pumping temperature, melted bitumen is filtered and pumped to a bitumen storage tank, asphalt plant, or downstream bitumen processing system.
Main Components
-
Melting Tank
Stores and heats bitumen during the decanting and melting process, supporting continuous liquid bitumen supply.
-
Thermal Oil Heating System
Transfers heat from an external thermal oil boiler to the upper heating chamber and lower melting chamber.
-
Hydraulic Propulsion System
Pushes drum plates through the heating chamber and supports continuous drum feeding during operation.
-
Drum Tipping Device
Supports drum handling and decanting operation, helping improve bitumen removal and reduce manual handling intensity.
-
Bitumen Pump and Filter
The bitumen pump transfers melted bitumen, while the filter device helps remove slag and impurities from the circulation pipeline.
-
Electric Control System
Controls the operating sequence, hydraulic propulsion, heating process, and bitumen pumping for easier site operation.
