DZL Series Bitumen Storage Tanks Heated With Electricity

DZL Series Bitumen Storage Tanks Heated With Electricity

Contact form

Description

  • The type tank is equipped with the thermal oil electric heating box and the thermal oil coils, the thermal oil is heated by the electric heater, then the thermal oil circulating pump forces the thermal oil to heat the asphalt through the thermal oil coils in the tank.
  • The start and stop of the electric heater is automatically controlled by both temperatures of asphalt and thermal oil. The temperature of the asphalt and the thermal oil are kept within the proper temperature range, realizing automatic production.

DZL: Electric-Heated Bitumen Storage — No Fuel, No Flame, No Boiler

DZL tanks heat bitumen with electricity alone — no diesel deliveries, no open flame, no boiler room. Choose the DZL-35L vertical tank (35 m³, 80–100 kW) for a small footprint, or the DZL-45 container-type tank (45 m³, 20 × 5 kW heater groups) for export-friendly horizontal layout. Both hold temperature automatically and pump on demand.

  • Zero Fuel Handling

No diesel tanks, no fuel deliveries, no burner maintenance — electric heating removes an entire category of site logistics and fire risk.

  • Set It and Forget It

Heater groups switch on and off automatically at your set bitumen and thermal-oil temperatures — the tank holds its working range overnight without an attendant.

  • Two Layouts, One Series

Vertical DZL-35L saves ground footprint next to a plant; container-type DZL-45 ships like a standard container and drops straight onto site.

  • Grouped Heaters, Staged Power

DZL-45's twenty 5 kW heater groups can run in stages — full power for heat-up, a few groups for holding — keeping electricity cost matched to actual demand.

Which Feiteng Bitumen Tank Fits Your Site?

Choose DZL when grid power is stable and you want fuel-free heating. Diesel available but no boiler? The YDL-40F self-heating tank brings its own burner. Already running a thermal oil boiler? The DL Series (30–50 m³) costs less. Need double heating or farm-scale volume? See the YZSL double-heating tank and the 500 m³ vertical tank.

Send us your storage volume, power condition and site layout — our engineers will recommend the right tank within 24 hours.

Step 1 — Model Selection

Choose DZL-35L or DZL-45 for your layout

The vertical DZL-35L takes a fraction of the ground area — useful when tank space beside the plant is tight. The horizontal DZL-45 (11 × 2.2 × 2.32 m) travels like a standard container and needs no crane gymnastics on arrival. Same electric heating logic, two footprints.

Step 2 — Electric Heating

Heat with grouped electric elements and thermal oil

Electric heaters warm the thermal oil heating box and coils, which transfer heat evenly into the bitumen — indirect heating that never scorches the binder at a hot spot. Grouped elements (20 × 5 kW on DZL-45) stage the power: everything on for heat-up, a few groups for holding.

Step 3 — Automatic Control

Hold temperature automatically, day and night

The control cabinet switches heater groups at your set bitumen and thermal-oil limits, so the tank rides its working temperature band unattended. Electric response is immediate — no burner ignition cycles, no flame supervision, just contactors doing their job silently.

Step 4 — Pumping and Supply

Unload, circulate or supply on demand

The three-screw bitumen pump (16.8 m³/h on DZL-35L, 24 m³/h on DZL-45) handles unloading, internal circulation and external supply to your mixing plant or processing line. Insulated tank walls keep standby heat loss — and standby electricity cost — low.

  • Electric Heating System

80–100 kW on DZL-35L; 20 groups × 5 kW on DZL-45 — staged switching matches power draw to demand.

  • Tank Body

    Vertical (DZL-35L, 35 m³) or container-type horizontal (DZL-45, 45 m³, 11 × 2.2 × 2.32 m) steel construction.

  • Thermal Oil Heating Box + Coils

Electric elements heat thermal oil, which transfers heat evenly to the bitumen — indirect, scorch-free heating.

  • Bitumen Pump System

    Three-screw pumps: 16.8 m³/h (DZL-35L) or 24 m³/h (DZL-45) for unloading, circulation and supply.

  • Automatic Control Cabinet

Manages heater groups, temperature monitoring and pump operation from one panel.

  • Insulation + Cladding

Full-tank insulation keeps holding losses — and holding electricity cost — to a minimum.

DZL FAQ

What is the DZL Series used for?

Electrically heated bitumen storage, temperature holding, unloading, pumping and supply for asphalt plants and bitumen processing systems — with no burner or fuel system.

How do I choose between DZL-35L and DZL-45?

Choose DZL-35L when ground space is tight and a vertical tank fits your layout; choose DZL-45 when you want 45 m³ capacity in a container-type unit that ships and installs with minimal site work.

Does the DZL series use a diesel burner?

No — DZL is purely electric. If diesel heating suits your site better, see the YDL-40F self-heating tank.

How much power supply do I need?

DZL-35L draws 80–100 kW at full heating; DZL-45 up to 100 kW across its 20 heater groups. Holding temperature uses only a fraction of that. Tell us your local voltage and available capacity for an exact configuration.

What are the payment terms?

Usually T/T: 30% down payment, balance before delivery. L/C is also accepted. Trade terms: EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF.

How long is the delivery time?

About 20 days of production time after the down payment is received.

What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?

One-year quality warranty after delivery, with online support included. We can also dispatch engineers for installation, commissioning and operator training.
