    ZYDST: Automatic + Self-Heating — The Full-Featured Drum Decanter

ZYDST combines the two features contractors ask for most: automatic drum tipping with hydraulic feeding, and self-contained diesel-burner heating with no external boiler. The result is an 8–10 t/h drum melting machine that one operator runs from the control panel — drums go in one end, clean liquid bitumen pumps out the other. Built around an Italian Baltur TBG85P burner and a 14 m³ heated reservoir.

    • Automatic Feeding, Minimal Labor

Automatic drum tipping plus hydraulic propulsion along two sliding ways — no crew pushing drums by hand. One operator supervises the whole line from the control panel.

    • No External Boiler Needed

The built-in combustion chamber, thermal oil system and flue heating run off the diesel burner. You skip the cost, transport and installation of a separate boiler entirely.

    • Italian Baltur Burner

Heat comes from a 600,000 kcal/h Italy Baltur TBG85P burner — a proven international brand component with spare parts available worldwide, not a no-name unit.

    • 8–10 t/h, 72.7 m² Heat Exchange

32 drums per load and a 72.7 m² total heat-exchange area support 8–10 t/h continuous melting — sized for medium and large road projects.

Which Feiteng Drum Decanter Fits Your Site?

Choose ZYDST when you want both automation and self-contained heating. Prefer a simpler self-heating unit? See the YDST Series. Already have a thermal oil boiler on site? The DLT and high-capacity ZDLT (45 drums) cost less. Melting bag-packed bitumen? See the DKLR and YDLR bag decanters.

Send us your bitumen package type, capacity and fuel condition — our engineers will recommend the right configuration within 24 hours.

    Step 1 — Automatic Feeding

    Automatic drum tipping and feeding

Drums are loaded onto the automatic tipping device, which positions them and hands off to the hydraulic propulsion system running along two sliding ways. Feeding continues at a machine-controlled rhythm — 32 drums per load — so throughput does not depend on how fast a crew can push drums, and loading labor drops to supervision.

    Step 2 — Self-Heating Melting

Melt with the built-in Baltur burner system

The 600,000 kcal/h Baltur TBG85P diesel burner fires the built-in combustion chamber, driving thermal oil heating and flue heat reuse across a 72.7 m² heat-exchange area. Thermal oil is held at 200–240 °C — hot enough to melt efficiently, controlled enough to avoid scorching the bitumen — and the burner cycles automatically at your set temperatures.

Step 3 — Storage and Transfer

Store in the 14 m³ reservoir and pump to site

Melted bitumen collects in the 14 m³ heated reservoir, which buffers supply between drum loads so downstream equipment never starves. The 3GN80×2-36 pump transfers 16.8 m³/h on just 5.5 kW to your storage tank, asphalt plant or processing system — with slag filtered out along the way.

    • Automatic Drum Tipping Device

Feeds and tips drums automatically — the key to running the line with one operator instead of a loading crew.

    • Hydraulic Propulsion System

Pushes drums along two sliding ways at a controlled pace for continuous, even melting.

    • Melting Tank + 14 m³ Reservoir

Receives, heats and stores melted bitumen, buffering supply between drum loads.

    • Baltur TBG85P Diesel Burner

600,000 kcal/h Italian-brand burner with built-in combustion chamber — spare parts available worldwide.

    • Thermal Oil + Flue Heating

Dual heat paths across 72.7 m² of exchange area, holding thermal oil at 200–240 °C for stable melting.

    • Bitumen Pump + Control System

3GN80×2-36 pump (16.8 m³/h, 5.5 kW) and centralized electric control — 18.1 kW total machine power.

    • Asphalt Mixing Plants

Supply liquid bitumen continuously to mixing plants running on drummed bitumen — the 14 m³ buffer keeps the plant fed between drum loads.

    • Road Construction Projects

Highway, municipal, airport and infrastructure projects needing stable on-site melting without building boiler infrastructure first.

    • Remote Project Sites

Where bulk liquid bitumen is unavailable or expensive, ZYDST turns drum stock into plant-ready liquid supply with nothing but diesel fuel.

    • Bitumen Storage Tank

Stores melted bitumen and holds working temperature before feeding asphalt plants or other equipment.
