Introduction

  • The bitumen emulsion plant is a special equipment used to produce emulsified bitumen. Its main function is to heat-melt the bitumen and use the action of emulsifier and machinery to make the bitumen evenly dispersed in the state of fine particles in an aqueous solution containing an appropriate amount of emulsifier to form emulsified bitumen.


    The equipment uses liquid bitumen and water as processing objects, and the process flow is as follows:

    1. bitumen variable pumping

    2. Heating of water

    3. Emulsifier blending and variable pumping

    4. Proportion of high-temperature bitumen and emulsified solution

    5. The prepared liquid mixture is broken into small droplets through a colloid mill to produce emulsified bitumen.

    6. Cooling and loading of emulsified bitumen finished products.

    There are three options for heating production water:

    Electric heating, thermal oil heating and oil-fired boiler heating.

    In addition, the "YZSL series fuel double-heated bitumen storage tank" produced by our company and specially designed for emulsified bitumen equipment can be equipped. The high-temperature thermal oil supplied from this tank can heat the production water and preheat the bitumen pipeline.

  • ① The equipment is suitable for general emulsified bitumen production.
    ② The equipment supporting the emulsion blending tank is made of 304 stainless steel, 2 blending tanks in turn, to ensure continuous production of emulsified bitumen, to reduce intermittent operations due to the ratio of debugging the chances of scrap.
    ③ To solve the emulsion and bitumen ratio, the use of a flow meter stainless steel multi-polar impeller pump, and an electric speed gear pump, adjust the flow of emulsion and bitumen, and then through the high-speed shear and grinding of the emulsifying machine, the formation of emulsified asphalt.
    ④ The matching bitumen pump is an insulated gear pump, which has the characteristics of stable operation and low noise. The bitumen pump and pipeline are designed with an insulated jacket, which eliminates the trouble of cleaning the pipeline.

This innovative method does not rely on flow meter solutions and employs a dynamic solid content algorithm for visualizing the finished product's content ratio.

    Efficiency Unleashed

    Equipped with a high-efficiency heat exchanger, this equipment cools the final emulsified bitumen for improved storage stability. Simultaneously, it heats the cooling water required for emulsified bitumen production. Typically, only the initial water tank requires heating, while subsequent water for production is entirely heated by the heat exchanger.

    Bitumen emulsion is widely used in road construction and maintenance:

    1. New road construction: prime coat, adhesive coat and seal coat;
    2. road maintenance: fog seal, slurry seal, micro surfacing treatment, chip seal, ultra thin wearing layer, pothole rehabilitation and etc.;
    3. Road pavement recycling: cold in-place recycling asphalt.
