YDLR: Self-Heating Bag Bitumen Melter — 6–8 kg Diesel Per Ton
YDLR melts 1-ton bag-packed bitumen at 8–10 t/h with its own Baltur diesel burner — no external boiler needed — burning just 6–8 kg of diesel per ton of bitumen. Hoisting, four-port feeding, thermal oil and flue heating, filtering and pumping are integrated on one 11.9 m unit with a 30 m³ heated storage section.
Why Contractors Choose YDLR
-
6–8 kg Diesel Per Ton
Thermal oil coils plus multi-row flue heat reuse squeeze the most out of every litre of diesel — a running-cost figure you can put straight into your project budget.
-
No External Boiler Needed
The Italian Baltur TBL105P burner and built-in combustion chamber make YDLR fully self-contained — ideal for project sites without hot oil infrastructure.
-
Four Covered Feeding Ports
Four top ports with movable lids keep feeding fast while protecting the melt from rain and holding heat in — loading continues in bad weather.
-
Runs Itself Safely
Automatic bitumen and thermal oil temperature control with manual override, plus a burner–pump interlock — the machine protects itself while the operator handles bags.
Which Feiteng Bag Bitumen Melter Fits Your Site?
Choose YDLR when you need self-contained diesel heating for bag bitumen. Already running a thermal oil boiler? The DKLR / DLR bag decanter uses your existing heat source and costs less. Melting drum-packed bitumen instead? Compare the YDST and ZYDST self-heating drum decanters.
Send us your bitumen package type, capacity and fuel condition — our engineers will recommend the right configuration within 24 hours.
Step 1 — Bag Loading
Load bags through four covered feeding ports
The 2-ton electric hoist lifts each bag to the top ports; operators cut the bag bottom and the block drops into the chamber. With four ports working in rotation, feeding keeps pace with the 8–10 t/h melt rate — and the movable lids close over each port to hold heat in and keep rain out between loads.
Step 2 — Dual-Path Heating
Melt with thermal oil coils and flue heat reuse
The Baltur TBL105P burner fires the built-in combustion chamber: hot thermal oil (200–240 °C) circulates through seamless-steel coils while high-temperature exhaust passes through multi-row flues, heating the bitumen a second time before discharge. This dual-path design is why diesel consumption stays at 6–8 kg per ton — heat that would go up the chimney works instead.
Step 3 — Filtering and Transfer
Filter and pump liquid bitumen to your tank
Once bitumen passes 110 °C, the three-screw pump transfers 16.8 m³/h at 0.6 MPa to your storage tank or plant. The suction-side filter traps bag debris before it ever reaches the pump — protecting the pump itself and every valve downstream. The 30 m³ heated tank section buffers supply between bag loads.

Applications
-
Road Construction Projects
Highway, maintenance and infrastructure projects supplied with bag-packed bitumen — melt on site with nothing but diesel fuel.
-
Asphalt Plant Support
Convert solid bag stock into filtered liquid bitumen for mixing plants and storage tanks, buffered by the 30 m³ heated section.
-
Remote Project Sites
Where bulk liquid transport is impractical, bag bitumen ships and stores easily — YDLR turns it into plant-ready supply anywhere diesel is available.

YDLR FAQ
What is YDLR Series used for?
Melting 1-ton bag-packed bitumen and supplying filtered liquid bitumen to storage tanks, asphalt plants or road projects — with fully self-contained diesel heating.
How is bag bitumen loaded?
The 2-ton electric hoist lifts bags to four covered top feeding ports; the bag bottom is cut and the block drops into the heating chamber.
How much diesel does it consume?
6–8 kg of diesel per ton of bitumen, thanks to combined thermal-oil coil heating and multi-row flue heat reuse.
Can it work with a bitumen storage tank?
Yes. The pump transfers melted bitumen at 16.8 m³/h to storage tanks for holding or further heating.
What are the payment terms?
Usually T/T: 30% down payment, balance before delivery. L/C is also accepted. Trade terms: EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF.
How long is the delivery time?
About 20 days of production time after the down payment is received.
What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?
One-year quality warranty after delivery, with online support included. We can also dispatch engineers for installation, commissioning and operator training.
