YDL-40F Diesel Burner Double Heating Square Bitumen Tank

Feiteng has developed the YDL-40F Diesel Burner Double Heating Square Bitumen Tank, a 42m³ self-heating bitumen storage tank designed for road construction projects, asphalt mixing plant support, and bitumen processing systems that require integrated heating, unloading, circulation, and pipeline heat tracing.

Unlike a standard bitumen storage tank that depends entirely on an external heating source, the YDL-40F combines diesel direct heating and thermal oil indirect heating in one square tank structure. This makes it suitable for project sites that need reliable bitumen storage and heating while also supporting bitumen pump and pipeline preheating.

Integrated Storage and Heating for Road Construction Projects

The YDL-40F is designed for base bitumen storage and supply. It can receive bitumen through the unloading trough, heat the material inside the tank, circulate bitumen internally, and pump heated bitumen to downstream equipment when required.

The system includes a diesel oil burner, built-in combustion chamber with thermal oil jacket, multirow flue tubes, thermal oil heating coils, insulated bitumen pump, thermal oil circulation pump, expansion tank, temperature control system, level gauge, unloading trough, and pipeline preheating system.

Why the Double Heating Design Matters

For many road construction sites, stable bitumen temperature is critical. If bitumen temperature drops too much during storage or pumping, viscosity increases and pipeline blockage may occur.
