2. The DXL-35S Production Workflow

Based on the technical specifications of the DXL-35S (35m³ Capacity), here is how we ensure consistent quality for every batch:

Step 1: Precise Dosing & Weighing

The DXL-35S features a built-in Weighing and Measuring System.

  • Whether your formula requires 4% SBS or 15% Rubber Powder, the PLC system controls the exact weight of additives. This eliminates human error and ensures that your asphalt binder meets the strict SHRP or PG grading standards.

Step 2: High-Power Agitation

Inside the 35,000-liter tank, we utilize Frequency Conversion Speed Agitators.

  • These powerful mixers ensure that the polymer particles are fully wetted and "swollen" by the hot bitumen before entering the mill. The variable speed control prevents splashing while maintaining a uniform suspension.

Step 3: Shearing & Developing

The mixture is pumped through the colloid mill for shearing and then returned to the tank for development (curing). The polymer network forms within the bitumen, significantly improving its elasticity and softening point.
